Spino Ghost Racing: cars racing through a corner

Spino Ghost Racing is out on Android

My new game Spino Ghost Racing is out on Google Play. The iPhone version is in App Store review and should follow in a few days.

It started this spring as a small browser game. A group of players kept racing it every day all summer and told me what to fix and what to add: championships, fair tie rules, new track pieces. For phones I rebuilt the whole game from scratch.

How it works:
1. Race real ghosts: Every car on the track is a lap another player drove, the drivers ranked right around you. Beat them, and your lap becomes the one they chase.
2. Build tracks: Draw a circuit with your finger, drive one clean lap to prove it works, and publish it for everyone.
3. Run a championship: Pick the tracks, the points system, teams and the schedule. Standings and a hall of fame included.

Every lap is checked on the server before it counts, so the times are real. No account to create, no pop-up ads. You can buy a paint pack for your car or put your own text on a trackside billboard, but speed is never for sale.

It works with a controller, runs on older phones and plays on tablets too.

The leaderboards are still empty. Come set the first times.
