5Y Habit Tracker: Art Edition is designed with a “privacy-first” philosophy. We believe your habits, goals, and personal reflections should remain yours. Most of the data generated in the app stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
2. Data Storage and Ownership
- Local Storage: All your personal data—including your habits, progress, and logs—is stored locally on your device. We do not host a central database of your personal entries.
- Data Control: Because your data is stored locally, we cannot recover it for you if you lose your device or delete the app without a backup. You are in full control of your data.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Our app features AI-powered insights. To protect your privacy:
- On-Device Processing: AI interactions are processed directly on your smartphone’s hardware.
- No Cloud Training: Your prompts and the AI’s responses are not sent to us or to third-party AI providers to train models or monitor your activity.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
We offer premium features via in-app purchases. To manage this:
- Service Providers: We use a third-party service to validate your subscription status and handle digital receipts.
- Transaction Data: When you make a purchase, the Apple App Store or Google Play Store processes the payment. We receive a randomized identifier that tells us you have “Premium Access,” but we do not see your credit card details or full name.
5. Notifications and Alerts
If you choose to enable reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device. These do not require your personal data to be sent to an external server to trigger the alert.
6. Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to external websites. Once you click these links, you are subject to the privacy policies of those external sites.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location (such as the EU under GDPR or California under CCPA), you have rights regarding your data. Since we do not store your personal habit data on our servers, “accessing” or “deleting” your data is done by you directly within the app’s settings or by uninstalling the app.
